How it all started…
The idea of creating a show that inspires people who, just like her, are into beauty & fashion, want to start their own business, and who are simultaneously a single parent, was with Dericka for quite some time. Every day when she woke up she was thinking that there must be a way to send out a message, connect with like-minded people, and share their experiences. Inspire each other. Be there for each other.
She knew that, as a single parent, she needed to make an extra effort. To make time, to stay social, to provide for her children, and with all that – to take care of herself. Stay motivated, focused, organized, and finally, stay happy with herself and her life. She knew that she could count only on herself and that the world we live in is tough. Especially for a young single moms. However, that didn’t scare her off, and actually just pushed her to set the bar higher.
She always knew there must be something more waiting for her. So, she worked hard and dreamed big. She was always into the fashion industry, working long hours with brands, and then coming back home to perform her second shift as a mom.
Finally, she decided it was now or never and she launched her own business. Today, after 10 years of ups and downs, she is a proud business-woman, a working single mom, and a fashion & beauty leader. She wants to share with you her rough road to success. To inspire you to make great things, to step forward and begin doing what you love.
